I've been playing video games my whole life.
It's been a fantastic avenue to not only meet new people, but also to
bring people I already knew together. Whether it's getting a group of
friends together for a long night of gaming online, or even just
having a group of friends huddled around the TV for a game of Jackbox,
it's that sense of togetherness and community that gave me the passion
to go into the games industry.
While I may only be a student currently, that hasn't stopped me from
working on many different kinds of projects, from multi-month long
passion projects with ever blooming scopes, to week-long game jams
with strict deadlines and stressful, but fruitfull, scrambles at the
deadline.
My specialties include working primarily with front end programming.
While my focus has been game development with C#, the .NET Framework,
and Unity, I've also began working with the basics of web development
using the trio of HTML, CSS and Javascript. While working in game
development, I've also gotten the chance to lead multiple projects
with teams ranging from myself and an artist, to larger teams of 5 and
above. This has included learning about more than just different
project management frameworks, but more importantly how to get my
teammates engaged and involved with the planning of a project and how
to pivot if something doesn't go as planned.
Feel free to reach out! I'm always excited to learn more and get to
meet new people!
